1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing our Web Portal, querying our authoritative nameservers, or interacting with our APIs, CLI, or SDKs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Services

OnlyDNS, a service of Quantum Names LLC ("Quantum Names", "we", "us"), provides high-performance authoritative DNS hosting, RFC 2136 Dynamic DNS services, automated DNSSEC signing, domain parking, and developer APIs. We operate a multi-node global Anycast network designed for rapid DNS propagation and high availability.

3. Account Security & Credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, API keys, and TSIG cryptographic secrets. You must immediately notify OnlyDNS of any unauthorized access or security compromise. OnlyDNS is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain secure credentials.

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Uptime

We strive for maximum reliability across our global Anycast network. For standard paying accounts, OnlyDNS commits to a 99.99% monthly authoritative DNS uptime SLA. Enterprise plans include tailored 100% uptime SLAs and priority engineering escalation.

5. Customer Data Ownership

You retain complete, exclusive intellectual property ownership of all domain names, DNS records, zone files, and data that you upload, stage, or publish on OnlyDNS. We claim no ownership over customer data and will never lock in your zone files. You may export your entire zone configuration at any time in standard RFC 1035 BIND format.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use OnlyDNS infrastructure for any unlawful or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

• Hosting DNS records for command-and-control (C2) botnets, active malware distribution, or deceptive phishing attacks.
• Initiating, orchestrating, or facilitating denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or DNS amplification exploits.
• Attempting to probe, scan, or breach the security of our edge nodes, portal servers, or underlying systems without authorization.
• Publishing DNS records in intentional infringement of valid intellectual property or registered trademarks without proper authority.

7. Pricing, Billing & Cancellations

• Free Tier: OnlyDNS provides a free tier covering up to 250,000 queries per month and essential DNS features at zero charge.
• Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions and custom tiers are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Transparent overage rates apply to query volumes exceeding plan allowances.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Portal. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of your current billing period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quantum Names LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the services.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
